Vote Yes on Amendment 79!
New Era Colorado, as a part of the Coloradans for Protecting Reproductive Freedom campaign, is working to pass Amendment 79 this November! This measure will protect reproductive rights from government interference by enshrining abortion protections in the Colorado constitution. Right now in Colorado, there’s an outdated funding ban that prevents people on state health insurance plans from obtaining abortion care. Everyone deserves access to critical reproductive health care services like abortion, including those who work in the service of our state, like professors and teachers.
Young people, as one-third of the electorate in 2024, don’t just have political power; we have economic and cultural power to change our society. If people in Colorado want the state to be a place where young people can build their lives, our laws need to reflect our shared value of reproductive justice.
Vote Yes on Amendment J to protect marriage for everyone!
Marriage is a basic freedom that shouldn’t exclude anyone from the chance to marry their person. Young queer people deserve to be accepted for who they are and who they love, without fear of discrimination.
