Shaping the Future

Our lives, our power:

it’s on us to create our own future. That’s why young people are voting in record numbers and organizing nonstop. We’re driving the change we need and making sure our elected officials hear us loud and clear!

Money talks, but young people are tired of listening.

Reinventing Politics

When we’re organized, we’re powerful: we’re setting the terms of the debate, turning out to vote and winning elections, and elevating leaders who fight for our values. Whether it’s at the ballot box or the state legislature or at a city council meeting, Colorado’s young people are making our voices heard at every level of government and demanding that our elected officials prioritize the issues that matter to us. Climate change, an unprecedented student debt crisis, attacks on our bodily autonomy, and attempts to cut off access to the polls all threaten our future—but we’re organized, strategic, and tackling these issues head on.

New Era Colorado Action Fund organizes with young people across the state to show up in full force: to vote our values, to lobby for the change we need, and to mobilize our peers. We provide tools like a voter guide to connect candidates and decode ballot measures, educate and mobilize young voters to participate in our elections up and down the ballot, and then connect them directly with elected officials to shape the policy that impacts all of us. Join us.

What We Do

  • Educating Voters

Knowledge is power. That’s what our voter guide is all about: it’s rigorously researched yet easy-to-use, giving young people the knowledge they need to make informed decisions in all elections whether you’re a first-time voter or electoral veteran.

  • GOT(F)V

As the largest young voter registration organization in the state and one of the most effective youth turnout groups in the country (nbd), we’ve led the *new era* of political engagement since 2006. We’ve registered over 250,000 young voters because we know that our vote is our voice, and young voices need to be heard.
