Who did New Era Colorado endorse?
Despite record youth turnout in the last three national elections, we haven’t seen meaningful progress on young people’s priority issues. We believe that by endorsing Youth Agenda Champions in the 2024 primary and general elections, we have a better chance of passing Youth Agenda policies and creating the world young people want to live in. For the 2024 general election, New Era Colorado AF was proud to endorse:
Representative Tim Hernández

Representative Hernández is committed to walking alongside and empowering young people in the political process. His experience as a teacher and organizer helps him design policies that center young people’s lived experiences while balancing the end goal of liberation for all people.
Yara Zokaie
House District 52
Yara believes that it’s time for people to elect someone who will represent them—not corporate interests. Yara’s experience as a tax attorney and belief that corporations should pay what they owe will help us fund policy demands for a more inclusive, equitable and anti-racist future.
