Environment
Adam Frisch: A proponent of a balanced approach. Adam Frish supports “the transition to clean renewable energy sources and will work to provide those living in gas and coal communities what they need to thrive.” He advocates for addressing climate change through sustainable energy policies but also emphasizes the need to ensure that transitions don’t harm workers in traditional energy industries.
Jeff Hurd: Jeff Hurd is a vocal opponent of the Environmental Protection Agency and the need to comply with public health and safety measures.
In 2017, Hurd led the effort to oppose a Colorado Supreme Court ruling that required the Colorado Oil and Gas Commission to protect public health, safety and welfare when considering oil and gas development.
Hurd also is interested in increasing fossil fuel production on public lands.
